Research on the chenille technique coupled with the pleats I developed contracting the material with tights during my diploma.


My work with materials can be seen as an outlet where emotion and creative energy merge.
Creating in order to destroy and destroying in order to create. It is at each stage of this progressive back and forth that the effort of precision and patience in repetition becomes solvent.

The choice of tights as the foundation on which each element is grafted reveals a fragility and sensitivity. And it’s this key element that provokes a feeling of tension, fear and unease. The way in which the garment empties its bowels is nothing more than the logical continuation of its evolution.
